Our Program

We are Team 3255 –  The SuperNURDs a robotics club at San Pasqual High School in Escondido, CA. We have been competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) since 2010. 

 

Mission Statement: ​To provide a safe, welcoming, and positive after school environment promoting student’s interest and enjoyment in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

WE

• foster a spirit of service to others through community outreach projects.

• conduct ourselves maturely, respectfully, and professionally in all interactions with each other, our sponsors, and our community.​

• promote a “pay it forward” culture where veteran students train and nurture rookie members through a shadow program and students are provided opportunities to assist other local FRC, FTC, and FLL teams.​

• facilitate an environment of inclusiveness and appreciation of diversity.

• support a flexible attendance schedule that allows students to prioritize school work and participation in other clubs on campus​.

• engage corporate sponsors to ensure student members may participate at no cost.

• inspire students to seek higher education in a STEM related field by providing guidance, connections and internships with our professional mentors and/or generous scholarship opportunities provided by FIRST.
