Week 4 Recap!
Jan. 27 – Feb. 3
The Software team started to work on the autonomous scale commands and finished tuning the pids. The Mechanical and CAD team are in the process of finishing the cascade for the practice bot and are preparing to cut out the triple threat for assembly. The Fabrication Team has completed cutting out parts for the practice robot. The Electrical team has created a new layout for the bot and has also added their electrical components on CAD. The Business team is happy to report that they are almost done with drafting the lengthy award submissions. They took a well needed break from the intense editing to get a jump-start on button crafting. Students from the North Broadway Elementary School Science Night came to visit the team and to learn more about FIRST and how we operate. We also had a group of 6-year olds who paid us a visit and asked us to help them start and mentor a team.
We would like to thank all of our mentors, parents, and members. We want to thank the Allison’s for the generous donation of chili, cookies, and soda on Friday night. Thank You Mrs. Kamman for providing lunch on Saturday.
