We started off the week with the 2019 Kick-Off and have made great progress within the week. Each of our sub teams has been making progress. Mechanical has been CADing and prototyping parts for the robot. This sub team is close to a final design for the robot. Electrical has worked on new wires for batteries and replaced battery leads with a new gage. Business has been working on awards, updating the website, and is implementing the new “Build Vlog” in unison with our existing Build Blog. Software created a drive train subsystem and an intake subsystem. They started working with vision and PID. Field Elements has finished the rocket, the platform habitats, and the feeding stations. They are nearly finished with the cargo ship. In addition to building the field elements, the team has been working with software helping with vision tracking. Fabrication has cut out the intake prototype and has been cutting out other pieces.
Welcome Mr. Michael Peck, our new mentor. He works as a Fleet Support engineer for the F/A-18 fuel team. He's here to learn and help as much as he can
Thank you Mrs. Kamman for bringing food. Thank you parents for donating snacks to keep us from starving this build season.
