We started off the week with the 2020 Kick-Off and got a headstart with our progress. Each of our sub teams has been making progress. Mechanical has been CADing and prototyping parts for shooters. They are also flushing out concepts for a climber and collector. Electrical started off by organizing their workspace and removing parts from last year’s robot. Business continues to implement the “Build Vlogs” in unison with our existing Build Blog and have also branched out to learn from other subteams. Software installed the new programs and worked on a rotating limelight mount. Field Team has finished building the power ports, human feeder, generator switch and control panel. The only thing left is adding the final details. Fabrication has cut out many prototypes for the shooter and climber and are ready to start cutting metal for more finalized designs. They also have started to learn and use our new 3D printer.
